The book I will choose for Chinese is "文心雕龍." The reason why I will pick this one is because this one is the most well-organized critical piece in the history of Chinese literature. It says that we should put more attention to the content rather than the formation.
The other book I will choose for English is "The Yellow Wall Paper." The reason why I will pick this one is because it is my favorite one which is also my teaching material to my students. It discusses the social position of women and the relationship between authorities. Furthermore, it is also an interesting horror short novel.
