My CALL Experience

My CALL Experience

        I have been tutor for 4 years, more than 10 students in total, aged from 5 years old to 15 years old.  I will give them different materials based on their needs. Personally, I prefer to teach students who are still in the elementary school because they do not need to suffer too many pressure from the education system. Take one of my students, Mary, for example. She is fifth grade now, and I like to talk tales with her, watching movies, YouTube in order to improve her English speaking and listening skills.

TWO BOOKS FROM GUTENBERG PROJECT

     The book I will choose for Chinese is "文心雕龍." The reason why I will pick this one is because this one is the most well-organized critical piece in the history of Chinese literature. It says that we should put more attention to the content rather than the formation.      The other book I will choose for English is "The Yellow Wall Paper." The reason why I will pick this one is because it is my favorite one which is also my teaching material to my students. It discusses the social position of women and the relationship between authorities. Furthermore, it is also an interesting horror short novel.
